Kin Canada continues its 20-year evolution with iMIS.

What began as an upgrade from iMIS desktop has become a complete digital transformation.

Kin Canada has moved beyond legacy dependencies on Access databases and separate website hosting and now powers its entire public website and club portal through RiSE.

Most recently, Kin Canada launched a new online store within iMIS, introducing enhanced product attributes like size, fit and colour.

By Pairing Brain Lava’s Website design expertise with the capabilities of iMIS EMS, Boost It Up helped deliver a fully modernized digital platform - ensuring this century-old organization is equipped to support its members, clubs and community for years to come.

Members benefit from the American Guild of Organists transition to iMIS EMS

The American Guild of Organists successfully completed its move to iMIS EMS in October 2024, establishing a modern, unified platform to support its national office, more than 250 chapters, and its members and donors. Boost It Up joined the project to help guide AGO across the finish line, stabilizing the implementation and ensuring the system was ready to support its operations and future growth.

Since then, Boost It Up has continued to work alongside AGO to expand how the EMS platform serves its members, chapters, and leadership. Today, iMIS EMS provides the foundation for AGO’s membership and fundraising, while enabling new tools that strengthen engagement across its community.

Members can now take advantage of features that were not previously possible, including a freelance and substitute musician directory, a new calendar of upcoming recitals and events, and an online job board—bringing valuable professional resources together in a single, accessible platform.

AGO’s chapters also benefit from a dedicated chapter portal, allowing local leaders to manage their own members, view and update records, and support chapter activities directly within iMIS EMS. This capability empowers chapters while maintaining a single, unified system across the entire organization.
